Repeated Escape Attempt by Biagio Fasano (B. Magic) and Roberto Tota

"Repetead Escape Attempt" is a new Automatic Card Magic effect where the magician will always manage to find a card freely chosen by a spectator, representing an elusive thief, and hidden in the middle of the deck, using only a few clues provided by the deck itself.

After showing a deck of cards to the audience, he shuffles, cuts and completes.
He slides the cards in front of a spectator who, saying “Stop” at his discretion, will choose the card that represents the thief, secretly look at it, and then lose it in middle of the deck.
Deciding for each one whether to take it from the top or the bottom, the viewer will select THREE cards: the pieces of evidence that have been found by the Secret Agent in charge of the case, who is determined to catch the criminal. These cards will determine the time of the robbery, the distance from the scene of the crime to the hiding place of the stolen goods, and the street number of the building where the culprit appears to have taken refuge. By retracing each of these clues (i.e., stacking the corresponding number of cards taken from the top of the deck), the culprit will be caught, unbelievably!

But, taking advantage of the general distraction caused by the celebrations for the apparent success of the difficult undertaking, the thief will once again manage to slip away and escape... Without losing heart, the illusionist, after having the spectator cut the newly reassembled deck and scattered his card again, will say that the Secret Agent (whose identity he reveals for the first time) managed to glimpse the direction of his escape and, thanks to a GPS that he had secretly placed in his pocket, will try to intercept him.
Following only the trail indicated by the first card of the same SUIT as the Agent's, the magician will also explain that the VALUE of that card will indicate the thief's coordinates in three dimensions, expressed in terms of LATITUDE, LONGITUDE, and ALTITUDE.
So, by letting the spectator count that NUMBER of cards for each of the three coordinates, starting from the top of the deck, the elusive thief will finally be brought to justice!
